Signed bottom left Ture Axelsson Bosin (1894 - 1983), was a Swedish artist. The scene painted in this artwork transports the viewer to a serene and idyllic setting with a touch of romanticism. Vivid sunny summer day, captured by a combination of an interesting palette of colors and shades, undoubtedly demonstrates to us the skill and talent of painter. In the foreground, we see large picturesque trees, amidst which two elegant ladies are strolling and relaxing with their children and a small dog. In the distance, the building of the manor with its outbuildings can be seen. The artist's attention to detail and skillful use of bold brushstrokes and muted colors, combined with the play of light and shadow, gives the composition a sense of depth and volume. Bosin was the son of Axel Bosin. He studied at the Technical School and Wilhelmson's School of Painting and went through the Academy of Arts where he studied with Olle Hjortzberg. Like the intimists, he has been influenced by impressionism and Cézanne and stands in his Öland nature studies, such as one in the Vickleby School, near William Nording and Torsten Palm. In addition to landscape motifs from Öland and Lidingö, interior paintings and still lifes are mainly noticeable. Bosin is represented at the Kalmar Art Museum.
