Anna Ekström, born July 2, 1859 in Örebro, died February 27, 1949 in Nora, was a Swedish elementary school teacher and painter. Ekström studied to be a teacher at the seminary in Falun and during the 1870s participated in drawing lessons at the Handicraft School in Stockholm. After her retirement, she resumed her art studies for Esther Kjerner and Eva Bagge, and became a much-appreciated artist in her home area. She participated in the Historical - Topographical Exhibition from Örebro County in Örebro in 1902. Ekström is represented at the National Museum with seven small sketches made in 1938-1942 that depict the museum's interior.
