What could be more wonderful than morning fishing on a mountain lake in the company of a friend. The painter perfectly conveyed the depth and perspective of a cool, quiet morning. Nature is just waking up... The volcano in the distance and the forest are drawn in great detail. Oil painting on paperboards signed lower left J. L. Riddersporre and one dated 1904. There are many records of works for this painter, but we were unable to make out exact name of this undoubted professional and definitely gifted artist, who worked in Sweden and Scandinavia. We have a second painting of the same size and subject of this artist, by purchasing both paintings you can create an unforgettable interior of your home. 

Size app.: 30 x 49.8 cm (roughly 11,8 x 19,6 in) enclosed into good neoclassical golden gesso frames 42,5 x 62 cm (roughly 16.7 x 24.5 in). Very Good condition, wear mostly to frames. Please study good resolution images for overall cosmetic condition. In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment.
