Pastoral Landscape w Cattle Cows 19th century Oil Painting by Russian Master ^Sale

Signed lower left “Orloff” and ascribed on the name plate “C. Orloff” for unidentified professional Russian artist painter. However short research within artprice web data base gets me to paintings of animalist Jwan Petowitsch Orloff (1815-1861) with mostly of same size and media, basically signed J.Orloff in same script and dedicated to winter Troikas and hunting. Thus, this pastoral was mistakenly attributed to a certain K. Orlov and, in our opinion, pretty rare masterwork done by acknowledged listed painter. Oil painting on wooden board, signed, framed.
Size app.: 15.5 x 31.3 cm (roughly 6.1 x 12.3 in), frame is 34.3 x 50 cm (roughly 13.5 x 19.7 in). Very good ready to hang condition showing average wear such losses also to frame, and tiny retouches well readable in UV-light (pic). Please study good resolution images for cosmetic condition. In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment.
