Russian troyka Wolf attack scene in winter 19C-20C Polish master pair oil paintings ^Sale

Very interesting plot paired paintings, tell us about the history of courage: a wolf attacks a sleigh passing along the road, but the wolf does not reach its goal... The second painting already depicts the return of the travelers, we are already seeing a hunter with a gun in the sleigh, who neutralizes the wolf. Signed “Wolski” that leads to either professional Polish painter of 19th century or namesake of 20th century, both have utilized same subject and perhaps were relatives, very skilled artists.

Size app.: 12 x 26,5 cm (roughly 4,7 x 10,5 in) and nice frame ca 20,6 x 34,2 cm (roughly 8,1 x 13.5 in). Very Good. Usage age wear are minor.
