Artist: Signed in the lower right "E. Gachal J. 1920" by renowned Hungarian painter József Eölvedi Gachal (1889–1974). His works are held in the Hungarian National Gallery, and he was a recipient of the prestigious Rökk-Szilárd prize. The verso bears handwritten Hungarian inscriptions: "Eölvedi Gachal József" (the artist's full name), "I. Mészáros utca 10." (a Budapest address), and "Havas tájkép" (the original title, translating to "Snowy Landscape"). There is also an exhibition or gallery label with a number and the inscription "Studio International".
