Rare antique model 1889 wall telephone by L.M. Ericsson & Co, Stockholm, Sweden. Serial #30929 was manufactured in 1891 with the last service label from 1905. Similar to model AB210, this full-size wall-mounted unit represents L.M. Ericsson's telephone production during the company's early expansion period. This magnificent Victorian telephone displays exceptional craftsmanship with a carved wooden case featuring walnut trim that shows beautiful patterns, a heraldic lithographed decal, two bells, and an original crank magneto. The preservation of original components enhances its historical significance. Such pieces serve dual purposes as both valuable collectibles and distinguished decorative elements that can seamlessly integrate authentic Victorian character into contemporary interiors.

The company was founded in 1876 by Lars Magnus Ericsson and is jointly controlled by the Wallenberg family through its holding company Investor AB, and the universal bank Handelsbanken through its investment company Industrivärden.
