Signed: Henning Ö . Painting of very good quality by an unidentified Scandinavian artist, painted in the second half of 20th century. In the foreground of the canvas is a picturesque oak and a small country house and a bridge over a small river. In the background you can see the lake into which this river flows and the trees on the shore of this lake. The image of a transparent blue sky with clouds in which the sun is reflected also adds light to the canvas. There is no image of the sun in the picture, but the canvas is literally permeated with the light of an autumn sunset, which slightly touches the contours. This feeling is achieved by the play of light and shadow, the subtlest color transitions, in this work the artist pays special attention to this contrast. Vintage oil painting on canvas, signed, framed.
