William Joseph King (W.J. King R.B.S.A, 1857 - 1943) painted landscapes and marines. He exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists from 1885 to 1943. He also exhibited at the R. Cam A. and the Royal Scottish Academy. Titles by King include “Harvest near the Sea” and “Evening at Anglesey”. King lived in Birmingham. His work are desirable because of there quality and represented in museum of Birmingham. Signed and dated lower right: "William J King. 93".
